Md Abul Hasan, is a Candidate of Science in the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia. Previously, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Research and Development (IRD) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and as a Research Fellow at the Center for Policy and Social Research (CPSR) in Istanbul, Türkiye. Currently, Dr. Hasan works as a Research Officer at Research and Integrated Thought (RIT), Dhaka, Bangladesh. Additionally, he is one of the founders of a research center, namely the “Center for Policy, Research & Innovation (CPRI),” in Bangladesh, where he serves as a Research Director.

Abul Hasan’s research revolves around foreign policy analysis, Bangladesh’s foreign policy, the foreign policy choices of Islamic political parties, major political parties in Bangladesh, regional politics, geopolitics, geoeconomics, and major power influence in South Asia. He has published one book and more than 10 scholarly papers and articles in reputed journals. He has also published a number of newspaper articles on various issues, including Bangladeshi politics and geopolitics, among others. Abul Hasan has attended and presented papers at numerous national and international conferences, and he serves as an editorial board member of several peer-reviewed journals.
